The secret boudoir at the Green Carnation (Soho)....

After some time in hibernation, I decided to venture out in to the cold in a pair of suede heeled boots last Saturday night and stepped into a hot little secret boudoir in the depths of London's Soho......that is how we ended up with a saucy amateur photoshoot at the Green Carnation. Not too cosy, yet not too big, even though it spanned across two floors and had an adequate bar serving reasonably priced drinks for London. The music was commercial but fun, and kept us on our toes the whole night. Whilst dancing and snapping away freely with my camera, I played with the extravagant decor of glowing chandeliers, shiny gold mirrors, rustic antique sofas, rich green walls inscribed with literature and furry blood velvet wallpaper that were a pleasure to touch.....they were rooms that could have made Oscar Wilde turn pink with jealous. It was not a boudoir set out to just look posh, it was a boudoir with a difference.....as cute little oddities hidden in the landscape reminded you of funky modernity and that you were indeed in trendy Soho. All in all, it was a great night filled with music, dance, laughter and sweet friends......so here is the result of our mini amateur photoshoot at the Green Carnation (Soho).
